The summits are where its at, ride to the hills! It all started in Southern Cal as my big brother was increasing his kick while logging big miles on his road cycling commute. Not to be disadvantaged I meet his pre-emptive threat and began my road cycling lifestyle.

After my 1st high country JPL Tour of La Canada, Ca 10,000 ft, 105 miles, my rage was born.

I get most inspiration out of a Cinderella sports story and Armstrong's beating cancer first and seventhly his 7 Tour wins are the ultimate Cinderella story !!

In 2002, I was blessed with a lay off from Boeing for 4 years permitting newfound abilities to go rogue as the RAGING LONGHORN in support of the greatest comeback in sports history and cycle 1000's of miles in western Europe on my fully loaded touring bicycle. My schtick was to not blend in with the masses of Armstrong fans, but to make a lasting impression by delivering comical relief so Lance and his team could forget their suffering for a moment and get laughable kicks out of my consistent RAGING LONGHORN appearances on the steepest roads of the high country. My sports psychology stoked the fires inside Lance and other cyclists I suited up for, propelling them to the pinnacle of their careers ; )

My TOUR chase travel fun was just an appetizer to what would immediately follow.

I loaded my CANNONDALE TOURING BIKE and embarked on my own solo tour discovering the 2400 mile west coast of Norway. Following years, after chasing pro tours,

I bicycle toured European back roads of Germany, Holland, Belgium, Spain & France.
